Towson, MD - A Towson High School Graduate who won a one armed golfing crown will receive praise from a Baltimore County leader. Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith is honoring Vincent Biser for his accomplishments.
The 21-year-old secured a win in the 2010 Flightmaster Cup in Britain to compete against European one armed golfers. Biser was a member of the Generals' Varsity Golf team at Towson High School.
Biser has been known as a long-ball driver. It seemed to work in Florida when he won the North American one armed Golfer Association Championship.
Vincent was born with Cerebral Palsy. He's partially paralyzed on one side of his body. He has the use of only one arm, but golf gave him a reason to strive for more.
Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith is honoring Vincent Biser at 2:30pm on Friday at the Old Courthouse in Towson.
