Get ready for a funfilled time at the races this weekend as the 2012 Preakness gets underway.
But it's not just about horse races, there are other events taking place too.
On Friday starting at 10 am, you can meet your favorite jockey and get their autograph.
- At 11am, Friday, get ready for the Handicapping Seminar with ESPN reporter Jeannie Edwards.
- The authors of White Gloves, Sham:Great was Second Best, Racing From Death and Inside Track: Insiders Guide to Horse Racing will sign copies of their books from 12 to 3:00 pm at the Grandstand.
- Its also Black-Eyed Susan Day. The Black-Eyed Susan was first run at Pimlico in 1919. The race is a mile and one-eight test for three-year-old fillies. Gates opened at 9:30 on Friday for this event. Post time 4:46 pm. Pimlico matches the amount wagered on the 2012 winner in-state as a contribution to Komen Maryland.
- On Saturday, gates will open at 8:00 am for the InfieldFest. This multi-cultural festival features live music, unique attractions and great food. Infield performers for this year include Maroon 5 and rapper Wiz Khalifa. British rockers The Darkness, Country band Little Big Town and Mr. Greengenes will perform on the Beer Garden Jagermeister Stage.
