LONDON -
In case you missed it Sunday, Michael Phelps added another medal to his collection.
This brings his total to 17 overall medals, just one shy of tying the all-time Olympic medal record.
The all-time record is held by a Soviet Gymnast.
Phelps scored his first ever silver medal in the 4X100 meter race, a team relay.
He swam the second leg of the relay.
Ryan Lochte was the anchor, and in the end the French team pulled it out and won the race by fractions of a second.
