BALTIMORE - Football season is here and Ravens fans sure are ready. The Detroit Lions are coming to town tonight for the first preseason game at M&T bank stadium.

The parking lot is empty now, but lots of fans will pack the stadium. Many will be out here tailgating, getting pumped up for the game.

Fans will be out in full force to support the Ravens and some will head out early to tailgate.

Tailgating a time of fellowship with friends -- family and other fans.

Here are some tips for tailgaters:

  • Bring plenty of food and beverages
  • Make a checklist so everyone knows what to bring.
  • Bring chairs
  • And plan entertainment, like horse shoes or music for dancing.

Happy tailgating!
