As Ravens Roster Changes One Player is a Constant

Ravens Training Camp - Today is the 1st full squad practice at the Ravens training camp in Westminster Md. The loss of cornerback Dominique Foxworth to a torn ACL in a non contact drill and with All-Pro safety Ed Reed rehabing from hip surgery the realization that playing football on this level for many years is not normal. The Ravens like all the other teams in the NFL have had many men put on the pads and uniform thru out the past 14 years but unlike many other teams, the Ravens have not had to worry about who will be playing Middle Linebacker. All- Pro and future hall of famer Ray Lewis has been the rock that the team has built on. "It's the love and respect for the game that drives me" says Ray Lewis, "football is football it doesn't change". And now with the addition of his good friend Anquan Boldin from the Arizona Cardinals Ray feels that the passion and direction he brings to the defense is now on the other side of the ball.
