Current and former Orioles hosted 80 first through fifth grade students from Morrell Park Elementary School in Baltimore as part of the 34th Annual OriolesREACH Holiday Party for Kids Tuesday.
The event took place from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Dave & Busters in the Arundel Mills Mall.
Manager Buck Showalter along with current Orioles JJ Hardy, LJ Hoes, Steve Johnson and Nick Markakis were joined by former O's Al Bumbry, Chris Hoiles, Dave Johnson and Scott McGregor for the event.
Players served lunch, played games with and signed autographs for the students. McGregor played Santa Claus and delivered gifts donated by the Orioles and OriolesREACH to each child.
Students also played for free in the arcade room courtesy of Dave and Busters.
Additionally, the Right Side Foundation, the personal charity of Nick and Christina Markakis, made a financial contribution for the party and provided an Under Armour drawstring backpack and a new baseball and glove for each child.
