BALTIMORE -

The Baltimore Orioles are celebrating their history this weekend with the unveiling of a bronze sculpture of Frank Robinson.

The sculpture is set to be unveiled Saturday evening before the Orioles' game against the Oakland Athletics. It'll be on display in the area beyond left-center field of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

It's the first of six similar events honoring some of the team's all-time greats.

The others who will have sculptures, each seven to eight feet tall, unveiled in their honor throughout the season include Brooks Robinson, Earl Weaver, Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray and Cal Ripken Jr.

Fans attending Saturday's game will be given a replica of Robinson's statue. Fans are expected to get their tickets in advance.
