Orioles sign McLouth

BALTIMORE - Nate McLouth will have another season with the Orioles.

The organization announced Thursday McLouth was signed to a one-year contract for the 2013 season.

The 31-year-old outfielder batted .268/.342/.435 (56-209) with seven home runs, 18 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 55 games for the Orioles in 2012.

He was clutch in the postseason for the Orioles with a double, homer, five RBI and three stolen bases.

Over eight major league seasons with Pittsburgh, Atlanta and the Orioles, he has 88 home runs, 290 RBI and 99 stolen bases.

The Orioles now have 40 players on the roster.
