Before the O’s game against the Royals on Wednesday night, a man offering a message of motivation will take the rubber.
Tom Willis will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
He was born without arms, so he learned to do everything with his feet, including writing, driving and throwing a baseball.
He is in Baltimore for a motivational speaking event at the Sports Legends Museum called “Pitch for Awareness.”
Willis grew up in Takoma Park, and graduated from the University of Maryland.
