BLOG | Last night made up for 69, 71, 79, 82 and 97.
To stand under 27 World Series flags inside baseball's cathedral and watch the Orioles win, was one of my greatest moments. To watch them lose on Wednesday night only to be mentally tough to win last night was tremendous.
This club is us. This 2012 Orioles team is Baltimore.
When we have a bad day at work, we bounce back stronger. This team is not intimidated. A team made up of men who have been demoted, given up on has given us a fall to remember. Guys knowing this was there final shot have taken the opportunity. Rookies who don't know they are supposed to crumble under pressure have become stars.
On the final out last night I just stood and watched a quiet celebration on the field. I felt like shaking each of their hands for giving me a memory I will never forget.
They will win today. This fairy tale season is not over.
