I really pushed myself last night, running for 2:15. Although I did not officially clock the mileage, I run about a 9 minute mile, so I'm guessing I did somewhere around 14 miles (maybe that's a bit presumptious?) It is my farthest run yet, but I'm concerned because my knees are so achey! If they are bothering me this much now, what's going to happen during a 17-20 mile training run? They started hurting around 1:40 into the run, and continue to ache. Especially now! Ever since I got out of bed this morning, Its been hard to walk. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this normal?
On a positive note, I tried the JellyBelly Sports Beans that some people have suggested, and I really liked them. They didn't bother my stomach and gave me the extra boost I needed when I was feeling sluggish.
Have a great Day,
Thalia
