PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - One year after Haiti's massive earthquake, Dan Wooley sees his rescue after almost three days
buried beneath the rubble as a kind of resurrection.

Wooley, who works for the children's ministry Compassion International, says he prayed for survival and felt God's presence -- but not God's assurance that he would get out alive.

Wooley says the rescue made him realize that the most important things in his life are his faith and his family, and he now asks God to show him how best to live out his faith daily.

Wooley is back in Haiti on this anniversary of the earthquake, chronicling Compassion International's efforts to care for thousands of children amid a cholera outbreak.

He tells the story of his ordeal and rescue in a new book titled "Unshaken."
