BELGRADE, Serbia - Dozens of women, both married and unmarried, raced in wedding gowns during an annual race for a free trip.
The race was held Sunday in Belegrade. The women ran nearly 500-feet in the streets of the Serbian city.
The race only permits adult women to race and it doesn't matter if they are married or not.
"It's the third year for the race with about 100 women participating. We want to show our enthusiasm for sports through this event," race organizer Zorica Jovanovic told CCTV.
The first women to cross the finishing line did so in 19 seconds.
CCTV says the three finishers will be given a free trip.
