BEIJING - A bus driver in China is being hailed a hero, saving a bus full of passengers before he died.

A piece of metal flew through the bus window, striking him in the chest.

Before he died, he pulled the push over, pulled up the emergency brake and put on the flashers.

Nobody else on the bus was injured.

Authorities believe the metal piece came from a truck on the other side of the road.
