The Naval Academy’s Class of 2014 arrived in Annapolis Thursday ready begin “Plebe Summer,” a rigorous, six week program which will turn them into midshipmen ready to start training.

Over 17,000 young men and women applied to the academy, but only 1,230 were selected.
