Black Friday is chaotic enough with long lines and crowded parking lots.  So imagine if workers at one of the largest discount retailers decided to walk off the job on the busiest shopping day of the year.  That's what a group of demonstrators is calling for at a Walmart in Maryland.

A group of union organizers, Walmart workers and community activists held a march at the store at Capital Plaza in Landover Hills.  They tell WJLA that they're encouraging employees at the store to strike on Black Friday.  Workers say they want better wages, benefits and working conditions.

"I'm just tired of it," Michael Wilkins told WJLA.  "I have a family I have to take care of, and I got bills I have to pay."

Walmart says it plans to go forward with its Black Friday plans, regardless of the planned strike.  It released a statement saying, "We expect them to show up and do their job.  If they don't, depending on the circumstances, there could be consequences.  We will take every situation on a case-by-case basis."

The store has also asked the National Labor Relations Board to ask union organizers to stop the planned protest.
