West Virginia man killed in I-70 crash in Maryland

BOONSBORO, Md. -

  A West Virginia Man is dead after a crash on I-70 in western Maryland.

  Troopers from the Maryland State Police were called to the crash scene early Saturday morning. Investigators say 45-year-old Jorge Alberto Silva-Alvarez of Martinsburg, W.Va., was killed when his SUV crossed the center median and overturned several times. It landed in the fast lane of eastbound I-70.

  No one else was injured in the crash. Authorities say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
