BALTIMORE - The National Weather Service has now confirmed a total of  four tornadoes in last weeks storms for Maryland.

The Weather Service says there was an EF-0 tornado that hit Andrews Air Force Base and Camp Springs in Prince George's County at about 7:15 p.m., during Wednesday's storms. The maximum speed of the twister was 70 miles per hour and it left a path 0.8 miles long and 100 yards wide.

There were no injuries during the storm, but the ground survey crews tracked the tornado's path from a wooded area just southwest of the intersection of Auth Road and Allentown Road onto the Air Force Base. Numerous trees were uprooted and snapped, there was also some roofing ans siding damage.

The second confirmed tornado in Maryland was and EF-1 in Breton Bay in Saint Mary's County, during Thursday's storms, at about 11:20 p.m.

This tornado hit 90 mile per hour winds and left a path 3.3 miles long and 50 yards wide.

Survey crews confirmed that the twister tracked across Breton Bay, and snapped and uprooted numerous trees and caused some roof and siding damage.

The twister also blew a cinder block wall out from a storage shed and damaged it's roof before passing over Camp Calvert.

The third tornado that had been confirmed was in Westminster on Thursday at 7:46 p.m. This tornado was an EF-0 and had wind speeds of 65 miles per hour and tore a path 50 yards wide and 0.6 miles long, leaving uprooted trees and sevral trees snapped.

The storm tracked from near Old Westmister Pike across Ralph and Center Streets before lifting as it crossed Route 97.

The fourth tornado that has been confirmed as an EF-0 in Hampstead on Thursday at 8:09 p.m. The twister left a path of 50 yards wide and 1.1 miles long. The tornado tracked from near the Carroll County line in Baltimore County along Mount Carmel Road for 1.1 miles.

The twister snapped and uprooted several trees and downed larged branches. The storm tracked across Marshall Mill Road.

There were no reported injuries in any of the tornadoes.
