BEL AIR, Md (WMAR) - Almost every school has fundraisers, but it can be hard to motivate students to get involved.
Although, students at Hickory Elementary School had motivation to raise money for the school and their parent/teacher association.
The students were rewarded on Wednesday at an assembly with their assistant principal kissing a pig.
"I felt that it was the least that I could do to kiss the pig," said Jennifer Walter. "I kissed it twice," she said.
The students received the reward for raising more than $12,000.
