If you were stuck in this horrible bumper to bumper traffic in Frederick this weekend you had a lot of company.

Traffic and parking were an absolute nightmare all around the Crumland Farms community as the county played host to the Tough Mudder event.

Day two was canceled due to all the problems.

In the mud and held all over the world, more than a half million people have participated.  But this one in the mid-atlantic is being called an absolute disaster all over social media.

Mid-atlantic Mudder officials cite flooding, with traffic and parking issues.

Also inconsistent support from local authorities for the cancelation.

Frederick police said the traffic volume, lack of adequate parking, along with the weather that impacted the course played a role in their decision.

Mudder officials say participants and spectators who were not able to participate will be emailed about refunds or transfers.
