OXON HILL, Md. (WMAR) - A 3-year-old is dead after being hit by a car while with their father and 2-year-old sibling in Oxon Hill.

According to Prince Georges County Police, the father was exiting his car with the two children when the vehicle drifted and hit all three of them.

All three victims were transported to the hospital.

The 2-year-old child was transported with serious non-life threatening injuries, the father's injuries were minor, but it would be the 3-year-old who died after being transported with critical injuries.

The incident happened in the 600 block of Audrey Lane in Oxon Hill.
