SALISBURY, Md - Authorities say a teenage boy was killed and another was seriously injured when the off-road motorcycle they were riding collided with a bus in Salisbury.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says 15-year-old Joshua Thomas Friedel of Salisbury died in the accident Thursday afternoon on Tuscola Avenue.
A 16-year-old boy was taken to a hospital where he was being treated for serious injuries.
The sheriff's office says the accident occurred as the teens were trying to pass the bus on the left side as it was making a left turn.
The driver of the bus and two passengers onboard were not injured.
Sheriff's deputies had been responding to the area for reports of an off-road motorcycle driving recklessly when the crash occurred.
