ANNAPOLIS - The President's Day holiday is today, and it's time to take advantage of holiday deals, but some shoppers have been doing that all weekend long.

Friday marked the start of the second annual tax free weekend for energy star products.

And some homeowners say they have taken full advantage.

“Today and tomorrow are definitely the best times to be buying these appliances,” said Christine Diller.  “We waited just for this weekend to be able to come out here because you can save a couple hundred dollars you know on big purchases.”

Some appliance stores, like Best Buy, have also thrown in other advantages like sales, interest free payment plans and gift cards.

So remember, you still have today to take advantage of the deals.
