Takoma Park man convicted on drug, gun charges

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -
A Takoma Park man has been convicted of drug and gun charges.
Thirty-seven-year-old Corey Moore was convicted of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and other offenses on Monday. He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years at sentencing May 30.
According to evidence presented at trial, Moore intended to sell powder cocaine and PCP and possessed the guns to further his drug trafficking.
