EASTON - The Historical Society of Talbot County was founded in 1954 to celebrate the area's rich heritage.
The Historical Society is located in downtown Easton. The society's museum and historic houses surround award-winning gardens, maintained by the Talbot County Garden Club. It features a collection of more than 10,000 artifacts and 40,000 images.
The Historical Society also owns and operates the Museum Shop, a book and gift shop; Tharpe Antiques and Decorative Arts, an antique consignment shop; and the Auditorium, a multi-purpose program space and rental facility.
