Woodlawn, Md. - Teachers Mark Davis and Charles Washington at the New Mark of Excellence School in Woodlawn liked the old School House Rock, but knew it needed a new twist to reach today's youth.

The teachers combined their skills of teaching and their love of music to help students learn with less stress.

The new verision gives the classic a hip hop twist. The cartoon creations and mascots teach through hard driving beats and flowing lyrics.

Now, their students are feeling confident in the classroom by the learning through a familiar hip hop music style.
