WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is set to resume on the National Mall.

The festival paused on Monday and Tuesday and will resume Wednesday through Sunday. It also was suspended last Saturday after damage to its tents from storms that moved through the area.

This year's festival explores the AIDS Memorial Quilt; the 150th anniversary of public and land-grant universities and the U.S. Department of Agriculture; and the arts and creativity of neighborhoods East of the Anacostia River in Washington.
