CHEVY CHASE, Md. (WMAR) - Six people are in the hospital following a four car crash on the Capitol Beltway in Montgomery County.
The crash happened on the Outer Loop of I-495 prior to the Connecticut Avenue exit.
Chief Scott Graham, spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire Department, tells ABC2 News that two victims are in life-threatening condition, two are in serious life threatening condition, and one victim is on basic life support.
According to the State Highway Administration's website, all lanes on the outer loop of the beltway are closed.
