HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the body of a man has been found along a road northwest of Hagerstown.
The sheriff's office says a person walking along Broadfording Road discovered the body Sunday in an overgrown area near a bridge that crosses Conococheague Creek.
Sheriff's office spokeswoman Deputy 1st Class Carly Hose says the man did not have any identification on him. Hose says the cause of death is not known and she did not know if there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
