BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Shortly after 6:00 p.m., the skies opened up on us once again.

Heavy downpours and high winds caused flash flooding and road closures throughout much of downtown Baltimore, Harbor East and Fells Point.

Centere Street turned into a river when too much water fell far too fast.

Near Camden Yards at the Hilton, guests got a big surprise when the water proved too much for the ceiling to bear.

Johns Hopkins wasn't immune from Mother Nature either, heavy rains collected in the hospital's ambulance bay and eventually spilled into the ER.
