ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
There is a push in Annapolis to make threats of mass violence a felony in Maryland.
Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks introduced the bill after seeing two incidents in the county, and will testify in support of it.
The first incident was Alexander Song, the former University of Maryland Student who threatened to go on a shooting rampage on the College Park campus.
The second, Neil Prescott, was arrested after phoning in a threat to shoot up his former place of employment.
