HALFWAY, Md. (AP) - Hospital officials say a pregnant woman injured in car crash in Halfway has died.

Twenty-six-year-old Beth Ann Faulder of Hagerstown died Tuesday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says she was 22 weeks pregnant.

Deputies tell The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown that on Saturday, Faulder pulled from Oak Ridge Drive onto Halfway Boulevard into the path of a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Dixie Lee Pierce of Hagerstown. Faulder's car was hit on the driver's side.

Faulder and Pierce were taken to a local hospital, where Pierce was treated and released. Faulder was flown to Shock Trauma.
