LAUREL, Md. (AP) -

Frank Carulli, who has set the odds for the Preakness Stakes since 2002, is leaving as handicapper and racing analyst at Pimlico and Laurel Park.

Carulli plans to move to Las Vegas after the Pimlico spring meet ends on June 8. The Preakness, the middle jewel of horse racing's Triple Crown, is May 18.

The Maryland Jockey Club says Keith Feustle will take over Carulli's morning-line duties in September. He has had a similar job at Colonial Downs since 2003.

Four candidates are being auditioned to fill Carulli's on-air role as the Pimlico and Laurel TV host. Among the contenders is Ryan Fogelsonger, who won an Eclipse Award as the nation's top apprentice jockey in 2002. The 31-year-old hasn't ridden since November when he sustained a concussion in a spill.
