STVENSVILLE, Md. - The Queen Anne's Sheriff's Office says someone is shooting at cars with a BB gun on Kent Island.
Imagine driving on an open road when someone shoots a BB gun at your car!
Its happened three times in the last three weeks on Route 8 near Marine Academy Drive on Kent Island.
Queen Anne's County Sheriff Gary Hofmann says, "if the driver had the window down he could hit, swerve in the other lane and cause a head on collision."
One car had a side window shattered and another car had its door dented and chipped.
Shooting at a car can cause more than just a ding in your door.
James McHenry had a BB gun when he was younger.
"When I was a kid we went in the woods and shot cans, not cars."
"I think they should take the guns and take the kids and lock them up."
As you can see the woods are pretty thick here.
The Sheriff's Office says all these shootings happened at the same time of day.
"All three times it happened between 6 and 8:30, so we have a pattern."
If you know anything, you're asking to call Queen Anne County Sheriff's Deputies.
