Police investigating Silver Spring fatal shooting

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - Montgomery County police are investigating the shooting of a 21-year-old man in Silver Spring as a homicide.

 

Police say they were called to an apartment in the 11400 block of July Drive around 3:45 p.m. Friday for a report of a shooting. When police arrived they found the man was dead.
 
Witnesses say they saw two men leaving the scene. Police did not release the victim's name.
