OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City officials say anyone planning visits to the town should postpone their travels, and people who live downtown should secure their homes and prepare for evacuation.

Officials say they're expecting severe flooding in low-lying areas and power outages that could last for days.

The town will be posting information related to the storm on different websites, its television access channel and social media outlets.
