OCEAN CITY, Md. -
If you’re planning a trip to the beach anytime soon, make sure you only drink at the bar.
Last night, the town council passed an emergency ordinance to change the punishment for open container violations.
Police Officers in the town can now arrest people drinking outside.
Officials hope the threat of arrest will make people rethink cracking an open bear while walking down the street.
