Numerous business owners arrested for human trafficking

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Police in Montgomery county arrested and charged multiple spa owners for prostitution and human trafficking.
Police started investigating the businesses in September. Starting in 2011, police noticed a large increase in the number of acupressure and massage companies advertising on adult websites. They also got numerous complaints from residents claiming illegal activities were happening in the spas.
Following the investigation, police obtained search warrants for The Pink Spa, The Tropical Spa, Executive Bodywork, Ya Ya Spa, WaWaSpa, and best massage, all in Rockville
Police charged Howard Hao Wang, owner of The Tropical Spa, and Feng Liu, owner of the Ya Ya Spa. Both were charged with human trafficking and conducting prostitution.
Police also charged Mauricio Alex Garcia Guardia, owner of Executive Body Work and Robert Carrasco, owner of The Pink Spa. Both charged with human trafficking and conducting prostitution.
