WASHINGTON - Pepco says more than 2,300 customers are still without power after severe thunderstorms that blew through the Washington area Friday evening.
Of those customers who still lacked electricity early Sunday afternoon, nearly 1,500 were in Prince George's County, parts of which were hit by a "microburst" storm.
Baltimore Gas & Electric crews are aiding Pepco's efforts to get power restored to those customers. All BGE customers had the lights back on by noon Saturday.
Farther north, Delmarva Power reports that just over 200 customers were without power early Sunday afternoon in Delaware and on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
