ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Maryland House of Delegates will be considering a reprimand of one of its own.

The House is scheduled on Tuesday morning to take up a recommendation by an ethics panel to reprimand Delegate Tony McConkey, R-Anne Arundel.

The panel found he had a conflict of interest when he tried to change legislation in order to help him get his real estate license back and reduce the interest on 75,000 he owed a fund for improper real estate services relating to three clients.

McConkey declined to comment Monday night after session when the report became public.

The report also recommended McConkey apologize.
