COLESVILLE, Md. -
A father accompanied by his four year-old-daughter was robbed at gunpoint at a Citibank ATM Thursday night.
The 48-year-old man was using the ATM machine around 8:30 p.m. at a Citibank located at 13440 New Hampshire Avenue in Colesville. The man’s preschool age daughter, who can be seen in surveillance video, was with her father in the bank vestibule when the robbery occurred.
Police said the robber approached the man from behind, shoved a gun into his back and demanded cash. The man complied and the robber took the money and ran. He was last seen on foot heading towards Randolph Road.
The robber is described as a black male with a thin build and facial hair. He was wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a black knit hat.
