Man dies in trailer fire

OAKLAND, Md (WMAR) -  

A man is dead following a trailer fire in Garrett County on Friday evening around 6:00 p.m.
 
A fire investigation has revealed that the man who died in the fire was the only person living in the 16-foot trailer.
 
The trailer was sitting at 10 Horseshore Lane in Oakland when the fire occurred.
 
It took 25 firefighters to control and extinguish the deadly flames after they were reported by a neighbor.
 
The identity of the victim is pending an autopsy and notification of next of kin.
 
Investigators report no working smoke detectors in the home and are working to determine a cause.
