Man charged in New Years Eve party rape

FREDERICK, Md. (WMAR) - Frederick Police have arrested 20-year-old Dwayne Anthony Jenkins and charged him in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old female at a New Years Eve party.
Police were notified of a possible sex offense of January 3 involving the 15-year-old female victim.
Through the course of the investigation Jenkins was determined to be involved in the assault on New Years Eve in the 1200 block of Ardmore Court and during several other occasions.
It was determined that the victim and suspect were acquaintances.
On June 5, charges were issued for Jenkins who turned himself in on June 14. Jenkins is charged with second degree rape, third degree sex offense and 2 counts of fourth degree sex offense.
