FREDERICK, Md. (WMAR) - A Hagerstown man has been arrested after police say he was carrying a handgun inside a popular shopping mall.
At about 2:00 p.m. today Maryland State Police Troopers responded to the Francis Scott Key Mall for the report of a man carrying a handgun in the waste band of his pants.
With assistance from Mall security, Troopers located Justin Gross and found that he had been illegally carrying a loaded pistol.
There were no reports that Gross had brandished or threatened any persons with the handgun.
