Officials with the Maryland Transportation Authority say drivers should expect delays on the Bay Bridge this week, especially those traveling on the westbound span.
According to the MTA, one lane of the westbound span may be closed through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for preservation/maintenance work. Two lanes may be closed on the westbound span from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Thursday.
Work is also expected to take place from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
