Juvenile arrested and charged with attempted second degree rape

FREDERICK, Md. -
An underage boy has been arrested and charged for sexually assaulting a young girl.
Police in Frederick received calls about a sexual assault on Thursday.
The victim told police that another family member attempted to rape her previously at a home located on the 1400 Block of Key Parkway in Frederick.
Upon investigation, police say "the juvenile male sexually assaulted the female with the intent of having sexual intercourse with the female."
Police say they arrested the underage male, and charged him with attempted second degree rape.
