ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Lawmakers in Annapolis are going over the state budget, and its looking more and more like taxes are going up.
Members of the House of Delegates debated the budget for more than nine hours on Thursday.
What they passed includes an increase to the flush tax. It also raises taxes for people who earn more than $100,000.
The Senate starts debating the budget next. Any differences between the two houses must be worked out by April 9.
