As Sandy approaches, the community is buying in bulk. Do you know what the number one item people are buying?

Batteries are already scarce, but one item that people are buying that is disappearing from stores is bottled water.

Wholesalers have been contacted by supermarkets, though they are already selling out.

To help yourself, fill empty bottles at home and put some in your refrigerator and your freezer.
