Fire causes $100k damage to home in PG County

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -  

 Firefighters in Prince George's County say a fire caused $100,000 in damage to a home.
 
Firefighters responded to the fire in the 600 block of Longfellow Street around 9:30 p.m. Friday. It took firefighters 20 minutes to extinguish the fire in the duplex. Firefighters say the occupants of the home were able to escape unharmed.
 
One firefighter sustained minor burn injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
