Mardela Springs, Md. - The crew from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is finishing out the last 24 hours of their Eastern Shore makeover.

They've been working since last Wednesday when they surprised the Johnson-Goslee family of Mardela Springs in Wicomico County.

Last Christmas Eve, the family's 16-year-old son, Wyzhir, was working on the family's 80-year-old home with his grandfather, when his jacket got tangled in a miter saw and severed his hand.

Even after his accident, Wyzhir continued to try and work on his family's home to make it safer.

But last week the Extreme Makeover crew took over.

They're working alongside the Annapolis-based The Fusion Companies.

The family has been on vacation in Santa Barbara while the work has been done, but they'll be back on October 4th for the "Move That Bus" celebration.
